Region II is the Mid-Atlantic section of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). It includes Research Administrators in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Region II 2026 Annual Meeting Travel Award: Nominations Now Open
One travel award of $1,500 will be awarded to a Region II member to reimburse the recipient for the cost of registration, travel, hotel or related expenses to attend the NCURA Annual Meeting, August 1-4, 2026 in New York City. Travel award applications are due by Friday, May 8, 2026. For more information and to access the nomination materials, check out the Awards page.
Region II Call for Nominations of Officers
Region II is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the following Officer positions:

Chair-Elect

Secretary
-
Regionally Elected Member of the Board of Directors
Officer candidates must:

Have been Region II members for a minimum of one year at the beginning of the term;

Appear on the official NCURA membership roster;
-
Have NCURA-related experience;
-
Have a known interest in Region II affairs; and
-
Be willing to serve, if elected.

Region II 2026 Regional Meeting Call for Proposals
The 2026 Region II Program Committee is pleased to invite submissions for session proposals for the Fall Meeting in Saratoga Springs, NY, from November 8-11, 2026.
While we welcome suggestions relating to all areas of research administration, we are especially focused on topics related to current challenges being faced by our colleagues in the field.
Submit your idea/suggestion for a session via the Call for Proposals form. Please submit a new form for each session idea/suggestion.
If you are interested in presenting an approved session at the Regional Meeting, please complete the Call for Presenters form.

Please submit your session proposals as well as your interest in being a presenter by Monday, June 1, 2026.
