Region II is the Mid-Atlantic section of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). It includes Research Administrators in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Region II Call for Nominations of Officers
Region II is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the following Officer positions:

Chair-Elect
-
Secretary
-
Regionally Elected Member of the Board of Directors
Officer candidates must:
-
Have been Region II members for a minimum of one year at the beginning of the term;

Appear on the official NCURA membership roster;
-
Have NCURA-related experience;
-
Have a known interest in Region II affairs; and
-
Be willing to serve, if elected.

Region II 2026 Regional Meeting Travel Award Nominations
Two travel awards of $1,500 will be awarded to two Region II members to reimburse recipients for the cost of registration, travel, hotel or related expenses to attend the NCURA Region II Fall Meeting, November 8-11, 2026 in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Recipients will be selected based on nominations received by the deadline and considered by the Region's Leadership Development and Nominating Committee and the Steering Committee. In addition to attending the entirety of the Fall Meeting, the recipients must provide a report of their experience at the meeting and a reimbursement request within 30 days from the meeting end date for the travel award to be paid.
Eligibility: Nominees must be research administrators whose institutional location is in the Region II geographic area (DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, WV) and who have never attended an in-person Fall Meeting. Nominees must be current members of NCURA at the time of nomination. Self-nominations are permitted.
Process: Complete and submit the Application Form with a letter of support from the nominee's supervisor by Friday, July 31. Nominees will be notified by August 14, 2026.
